Blessing

We believe the church is at its best when it is seeking the welfare of the city and that practically looks like serving the needs of our community. We are passionate about making local partnerships with nonprofits and ministries throughout our area. Our blessing days are family-friendly and have tasks for all ages and abilities. Each month, our communities participate in what we call “Blessing Week”. This is an opportunity for each Dweller to selflessly engage in the relationships that God has uniquely placed around us and to bring joy to others. The goal is to activate disciples and make loving others the rule, not the exception. Some examples of things that have been done are neighborhood cleanups, prepping freezer meals for a family, helping at the Hillsboro Tuesday Market, blessing the teachers of a local school, etc. To find out what is on the schedule for this month, check out the monthly Dwell email or the calendar of events.
